NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for us to join with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to celebrate their history, culture and achievements. 

• While NAIDOC celebrations focus on one week, there are many ways to introduce the cross-curriculum priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in your classroom throughout the year. NAIDOC Week 2-9 July 2023 

We celebrate NAIDOC Week across Australia in the first week of July. Recognising the history, culture, and
achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We encourage you to teach, learn and celebrate all year round. Here are a few suggestions to get you
started.
