North West Support School

The Tasmanian Government is undertaking a major redevelopment of North West Support School.

The school’s Devonport campus will be redeveloped on a new site in Devonport, with the Burnie campus to also undergo further upgrades.

In early 2023, extensive consultation was undertaken with the school and wider community to help shape the future of North West Support School.

The project initiation stage sees the commencement of project planning, documentation and engagement with the school community.

Development of Master Plan

This phase will see the development of a master plan.

Design

Design development of the approved master plan in readiness for tendering and construction.

Construction

Construction is expected to commence in 2025.

Completion

Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
